Placements and Internships

4

I am supposed to do an internship outside the college for about 4 to 6 weeks it can be paid or unpaid. There are companies like GS and EY who recruit students from colleges after an interview process. those companies pay you really well an approx of 20000 to 30000 for an intern who is working with them. There are many more companies who come for placement during your final year. You are given a chance to choose your requirements such as marketing, sales and various other fields all those are up to you. They give you a package for around 4 lakhs.Almost around 30-40% of students get through the placements there is a placement cell in college which helps the students to get an update about the upcoming placements

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

3

This college does not provide the students with any kind of hostel facilities. There are many pgs outside college and they cost around 8000 a month without food. there is only one canteen in the entire college the college is small compared to other colleges and the food in the canteen is not costly it is affordable for the students. The libraries in the college is also not that great. They provide you with wifi facilities too. the quality of class rooms are pretty good

Entrance Exams and Admissions

I didn't have any kind of enterence exam to get through this college i had to submit my marks card and all my details . The admission process was easy and not that hard for me . They guided me in geting through all the process during the admission . The cutoff for getting in the college was 90%.

Academics and Faculty

4.5

There are 4 hours of college a day and they provide a good teaching facility. There are projects or CIA every sem this carry almost around 10 marks. They provide a really good method of teach and there are very good lectures which help the students to do really well in academics. The college has been a wonderful experience it will educate us in all the possible ways

Fees and Scholarships

4.5

St Josephs College of Commerce Autonomous, Bangalore Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 10 lakhs 60000 to 70000.

There is a scholarship from the government and there is even scholarship from the college. The college provides a scholarship of around 20000 to each student for almost around 120 students this is an academic scholarship

Clubs and Associations

4.5

There are more than 60 clubs in the colleges it is a wonderful platform for the students to showcase their talent, they provide you with all the facilities. There are many fests conducted in college it is really hard to name all of them but one of the major intercollege cultural fests is dhwani and the sports fest is spel and the business fest is Chanakya. The management gives you a wonderful platform to grow. life in college is a wonderful experience altogether only if we are involved in all those clubs

Entrance Exams & Admissions : St Joseph's College of Commerce is one of the best and top autonomous colleges in Bengaluru. To pursue education in this college the eligibility criteria is he/she should have studied 10+2 years of education in ICSE/CBSE/State Board syllabus. There will be mandatory entrance exam paper for 50 marks consisting of 50 multiple choice questions. But, when I was getting admission it was a COVID time and we didn't have any entrance exam for admissions. The college generally takes the entrance exam outcome, but during COVID time the cutoff percentage was 91% and above.
