Entrance Exams & Admissions : St Joseph's College of Commerce is one of the best and top autonomous colleges in Bengaluru. To pursue education in this college the eligibility criteria is he/she should have studied 10+2 years of education in ICSE/CBSE/State Board syllabus. There will be mandatory entrance exam paper for 50 marks consisting of 50 multiple choice questions. But, when I was getting admission it was a COVID time and we didn't have any entrance exam for admissions. The college generally takes the entrance exam outcome, but during COVID time the cutoff percentage was 91% and above.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria are usually high for St. Josephs. I was given admission only because I had scored above 90% in Economics at the ISC. There is a walk-in-interview option which is the most popular and the admission is solely based on merit and an interview with your respective department teacher. There are no separate entrance exams for admission and the typical cutoffs are usually above 85% overall or if the student has exceptionally good marks in the subject they would like to pursue. For admission, one needs to start applying online in April itself and one has to upload their PU 1 and PU2 mark sheet online along with board results. Based on merit, one can be chosen for an interview. The other way is when the college wants to fill its seat and they call for a day or two walk-in interviews. During these interviews, there is still a chance for negotiation if the scores are low overall but sufficient in the subject of choice.
