Placements and Internships
Campus Placements for the session 2021-22 saw some big names such as Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hewlett Packard, SAP Labs, Samsung, L&T, Arcesium, Wipro, Flipkart recruiting engineering students from Chandigarh University. A record number of 3750 engineering students were selected during the campus placements in which more than 240 multinational companies participated.
Academics and Faculty
CU has designed its curriculum. They have flexible choice based credit system (FCBCS) to project based experiential learning.
Course curriculum is designed based on real-time inputs from industry experts, national and international academic leaders and to match the standards defined by national (NAAC & NBA) and international (ABET) accreditation bodies.
Clubs and Associations
Activities are educational processes and procedures intended to stimulate learning through real-time experience. The list of the activities undertaken by the Department of Applied Sciences is as follows:
M-FIELD Club: M-Field club deals basically with mathematics. The main objective of the Club is to build a positive attitude towards the learning of mathematics and an appreciation of the aesthetic nature and cultural aspects of mathematics and to use mathematics to formulate and solve problems in daily life as well as in mathematical contexts and other disciplines.
Femto Chem Club: Femto Chem Creation Club is an interdisciplinary club that deals basically in science. The Club aims to teach the scientific temper in the students by organizing different events.
Udaan: This Club aims to promote a vibrant campus experience by organizing innumerable activities that enhance students' skills and accentuate their understanding and learning graph. The Club provides a comforting vent for students who are inclined to share their imaginations and talents.
Enviro Club: This Club is involved in various programs promoting environmental consciousness and protecting the environment. To induce a change that includes the uprise of an interactive community towards a healthy environment.
