AU AIMEE Pharmacy eligibility criteria 2023 is set by the conducting authorities. AU AIMEE Pharmacy Eligibility Criteria 2023

AU AIMEE Pharmacy eligibility criteria 2023 must be met by the candidates before applying for the exam. Prior to filling up the application form, candidates for the AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2023 must meet all of the qualifying requirements given below. AU AIMEE Pharmacy application form 2023 will be released soon on the official website. Following are the AU AIMEE Pharmacy eligibility criteria 2023 for different courses.

Course

Eligibility Criteria

B.Pharm

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India to fulfill the eligibility criteria.
  • He/ She must be 17 years on or before 31st December 2023 to fulfill the eligibility criteria.
  • The candidate must have passed in all the subjects in class 10th and 12th with minimum eligibility marks.
  • The mandatory subjects are a group of Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology or Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics with any other subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
  • The minimum eligibility marks required in class 12th are as follows:
  • For OC/ BC/ BCM/ MBC/ DNC candidates- the minimum eligibility is of 35%marks individually in all subjects and an aggregate of a minimum of 40% marks.
  • For SC/ SCA/ ST candidates- the minimum eligibility is of 35%marks individually in all subjects and an aggregate of a minimum of 35% marks.
  • A minimum of 35% of marks in English is the eligibility condition.
  • Candidates who belong to Tamil Nadu and have passed Class VIII, IX, X, XI, and XII from Tamil Nadu can apply without providing the "Nativity Certificate" to satisfy the eligibility condition.
  • However, Nativity Certificate is mandatory in the case of candidates who have passed Class VIII, IX, X, XI, and XII from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu to cover up the eligibility criteria.
  • Candidates whose parents are employees of the Central Government can apply without any nativity certificate, provided their parents or guardians (if neither parent is alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu for the past five years at the time of application submission.
  • Candidates who have studied Class VIII, IX, X, XI, and XII in Tamil Nadu but belong to other states can also apply without enclosing the "Nativity Certificate" to fulfill the eligibility criteria.
  • Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognized Institutions who have been employed in Tamil Nadu for the past five years at the time of the submission of application can also apply, regardless of their domicile.

B.Pharm (Lateral Entry)

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India to cover up the eligibility condition.
  • He/ She must be 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2023 to satisfy the eligibility condition.
  • The candidate must be a diploma holder in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from Annamalai University, or an equivalent recognized University.
  • The candidate must have secured an aggregate of a minimum of 50% marks in first and second-year examinations of D. Pharm.
  • Foreign nationals are eligible to apply, provided they should be registered under Section 7A of the Citizenship Act 1955 (Central Act 57 of 1955).

D.Pharm

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India to cover up the eligibility condition.
  • The candidate must be 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2023.
  • Foreign nationals are eligible to apply, provided they should be registered under Section 7A of the Citizenship Act 1955 (Central Act 57 of 1955).
  • The candidate must have passed class 12th with Physics and Chemistry, along with Biology (or) Botany and Zoology (or) Mathematics.
  • Candidates with a B.Sc Degree in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/ Mathematics are also eligible.

M.Pharm

  • Must have a degree from Annamalai University or an equivalent university in B.Pharm with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • Belonging to SC/ SCA/ ST category can only have passing marks in the B. Pharm course to satisfy the eligibility condition.
  • Must be `17 years of age on or before 31st December 2023 to cover up the eligibility condition.
  • Must have passed class 12th with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Mathematics or Biology or Botany and Zoology as optional.
  • Those candidates who have qualified D.Pharm from a Pharmacy Council of India approved institution are also eligible.
  • Those candidates who belong to other states (apart from Tamil Nadu) can apply under open competition, which means they will be given privilege only after the seats get filled by the Tamil Nadu candidates.
