Vidyasagar College was established in the year 1872 by Pundit Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar. It is affiliated to the University of Calcutta and follows the curriculum provided by the University. The College lays its focus on the student centric learning method to make teaching-learning effective. Vidyasagar College has three different campuses in Kolkata for UG and PG courses: Main campus in Sankar Ghosh Lane for UG Course, Salt Lake for PG course and Bidhan Sarani.
A variety of Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses are provided by Vidyasagar College admission 2021. The UG level programmes include B.A. (Hons.), B.A.(General), B.Sc.(Hons.) and B.Sc. (General). At the Post Graduation level the College avails M.Sc. Course. The selection to any of the disciplines is strictly based on merit.
