Vidyasagar College was established in the year 1872 by Pundit Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar. It is affiliated to the University of Calcutta and follows the curriculum provided by the University. Vidyasagar College Application Form

The application form to any of the UG or PG courses will be available online in the official website of the College. The below given steps needs to be followed to fill the form:

Step 1: Visit the official website of Vidyasagar College and register for online application.
Step 2: Fill out the form with all the required details and input class 10+2 Registration No. in the registration number input box.
Step 3: After clicking on the save option an alert message will be displayed with the Login ID.
Step 4: Then it will get navigated to the homepage of your account where you need to upload the necessary documents (Photograph, class 10+2 Marks certificate and Admit Card Class10).
Step 5: The next step is to ‘Apply Subject’.
Step 6: The final step is the payment of the application fee. On clicking on the payment option an acknowledgement page opens from where you can print a copy of the application form and challan in case of bank payment or even do ‘Pay Online’.

Vidyasagar College Admission Fees

Depending on the type and duration the UG and PG programmes the Vidyasagar College fee structure varies for different courses.

INR 4195/- per semester tuition fees for B.A.(Hons.) in Bengali.
B.A.(General) Physics has a per semester admission fees ranging from INR 6090/- to INR 8340/- based on the subject combination.
The tuition fee for M.Sc. in Geography is INR 16,500/- and M.Sc. in Zoology is INR 20,000/- approximately.

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process

There are no entrance examinations for getting admitted to Vidyasagar College in any course. The minimum eligibility criteria are minimum 60℅ marks in(12+2) is required to apply for this stream. Selections will be made on the basis of merit. Every year cutoff is between 75-80℅.

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process

Eligibility criteria was to get at least 60% marks in the HSC examination. Vidyasagar college does not take any entrance exams. The typical cut off marks for mathematics honors is to obtain at least 70% mark in the science subjects and overall 60% in aggregate.
