Hostel: The Utkal University hostel blocks are separate for boys and girls. The campus has thirteen hostels, six of which are for boys and seven are for girls. Every hostel has a common room with various amenities. Basic facilities like food, water, electricity and wifi are provided to each resident. The safety and security of the Utkal University hostels are maintained and supervised by the superintendent, assistant superintendent and hostel warden. 

Library: Utkal University has a spacious central library with many books, reference books, manuscripts, periodicals and various other documents for the UU Bhubaneswar students. The Utkal University infrastructure has included a floor space of 28,000 square feet with a reading room in the library. 

The Utkal University Bhubaneswar library has over 5800 rare manuscripts for students and faculty members to access.

Guest House: Utkal University infrastructure includes a spacious guest house within walking distance from the administrative building. The guest house has large banquet halls, which organise lunch and dinner for participants during seminars and conferences. It also offers a huge parking space for visitors visiting the Utkal University Bhubaneswar campus.

Medical Facilities: The Utkal University infrastructure includes a health centre that renders services primarily to students, faculty, staff and their family members and residents of the university quarters. The health centre is run in a separate building with good infrastructure. On-call doctors are at the healthcare centre for medical emergencies and first aid.

Sports Facilities: Sport is an important part of the academic curriculum at UU Bhubaneswar. The students are encouraged to participate in various sporting events and competitions. The Utkal University campus has amenities for both outdoor and indoor games. Outdoor games like basketball, volleyball, handball, football, cricket, kabaddi and kho-kho are played, wherein indoor gaming facilities include badminton and table tennis.
