Master of Law is a postgraduate course offered by the University of Petroleum and studies [UPES] to cause justice by creating law professionals who understand the role of rules, regulations and legal institutions. LLM Course includes employable law professionals in specialized domains such as Corporate Law, Energy Law, Taxation Law, Labor Law Criminal Law, Intellectual Property Law, Cyberlaw, International Trade & Investment Law, Banking, Insurance, Financial Regulations, and International Economic Law, etc., through structured programs.

The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies [UPES] offers both the undergraduate and postgraduate courses for the law aspirants. LLM course imparts knowledge of the legal framework and contractual requirements of the Energy, International Trade, Commercial & Technology sector. UPES LL.M Scholarships:
- The 5% of students who secure more than 80% in 10th and 12th are eligible for the scholarship of 50% waiver for the 1st-semester tuition fee on each program.
- 25% tuition fee waiver to all girls taking admission in any of the UG & PG programs for AY 2020.
- The scholarships offered by the University are available for Uttarakhand State Board Toppers.
