The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies offers various dual courses. UPES BA LL.B Eligibility Criteria:
- A candidate must have a minimum of 50% marks in Higher and Senior Secondary levels.
- A student has to qualify ULSAT with a minimum cutoff score.
- Candidates with minimum 50% marks in Higher & Senior Secondary (10th & 12th) and CLAT AIR up to 15000 or L-SAT India Percentile of 60 or above will be exempted from ULSAT and will be invited directly for Group Discussion and Interview.
- Candidates with an aggregate of 80% marks in 10th & 12th with five core subjects (English as one of the compulsory subjects )are exempted from ULSAT and will be called directly for Group Discussion and Personal interview.

UPES BA LL.B Scholarships:
- A candidate must have 75% in Higher and Senior Secondary Exam can be eligible for the 50% tuition fee waiver on 10% seats of each program in the first Semester for CBSE, ICSE & State board pass out students.
- 25% of a tuition fee waiver for Boys and 35% for Girl students in the first year.
- 150 Uttarakhand state board toppers having minimum 80% marks in each of X, XII class and PCM for B.Tech and 80% aggregate for BBA and Law in Class X & XII in UK State Board are eligible for the scholarship.
- Students can also get a reduction in their tuition fees on the basis of their CLAT ranks.
