• Candidates who passed the corresponding bachelor's degree examination under the 10+2+3 pattern with core course and complementary course/ with one main subject and two subsidiary subjects from any of the Universities in Kerala or of any other University recognized by the University of Kerala as equivalent are eligible for admission
• Candidate should be an Indian Nation
• The student should pass B.Sc in Chemistry or Polymer Chemistry as optional Main or subsidiary subject and should secure more than 55% marks in the relevant subject 
• Candidates who do not take admission on the prescribed date will lose their admission   
• Candidates who are desire to do the PG programme should compulsorily register online before closing of admission
• In University, seats are classified as merit seats, community seats, management seats and reserved seats 
• For Tamil Linguistic minority 5% reservation given by the university
• Based on the rank in the inter-merit list and physical suitability, candidate will be selected for the admission
• The fee structure of the Government/ aided colleges is lower than that of self-financing colleges
• The candidate belongs to NSS/ NCC can be given bonus mark at the time of admission
