Placements & Internships : I have not engaged in any internships and stipends.  In our college for B.com honors, we need to have 65% as the top recruiting companies for this course are Amazon, SBI, HDFC, and many more. A minimum of 65% of students got internships from our course in banking companies. The top roles that are offered in this course are HR manager, financial advisory, CA, etc.   The current salary of recent graduates is generally lower than the current salary of students who graduated in previous batches. Such as in 2012-2014 the salary of the student was 3.9 lakh and now from 2018-2020, the salary of the student is 2.6 lakh. Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose College is a private alumni network that connects alumni, students, and faculty. They have Alma connect which is a social network with a mission to power private alumni networks using the technology which helps to bring them together as a group and connect in a meaningful way.  

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The basic eligibility for this course is the completion of 10+2 or its equivalent exam in commerce from the recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks score. However, the minimum marks that the college requires to offer admission in this course may vary from college to college.   I have not engaged in any entrance examination  This college asks for the best of four subject marks where the day batch has a cutoff of approximately 90 to 93% and for the morning batch it has to be 94% in the best four subjects. 

Fees & Scholarships : Per year the course fee for Accountancy honors in Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose College is 24,200. A number of full free studentships and half free studentships are granted to meritorious and economically weak students. Students belonging to SC/ST category are granted stipends by the Director of Public Instructions, Govt. of West Bengal on the recommendation of the college.  60% of students on average get this scholarship facility. The maximum loan size with collateral has no upper limit (Indians) but its 1cr (Abroad)   

Academics & Faculty : For B.com the daily classes start from 6:00-6:30 am and the examination is based on the semester wise where the students have to submit their assignments for each subject.  Teachers are quite co-operative and always helpful in the hours of need. The faculty-student ratio is about 9:1. Teachers are quite well qualified. Terms are twice a year and moderate to hard level. The facilities that are available make this college more unique and the teachers are also very helpful. 

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose College does not provide any hostel. There are numerous pg facilities for both boys and girls with the average cost of 12000per month. Quality and taste of food is acceptable. Cooking arrangements are Hygienic Our college provides facilities like stable Wi-Fi, a dustbin in classrooms and a lot of stock of books in the library.

Clubs & Associations : This college provides many sports facilities and with the help of these sports, there is a sponsorship that is available through the sports club.  The main festival of this college is related to sports activities where all the capable students should participate. In general, this college provides all types of facilities from infrastructure and good canteens to great offices. This college also has the college lab and libraries where the classroom has its own projectors. Overall this college has a great environment with all type of facilities that is required.
