The Oxford College of Engineering Admission 2023: Eligibility, Application Process & Dates

B.E. (Computer Science and Engineering) / B.E. (Information Science and Engineering) / B.E. (Electronics and Communication Engineering) / B.E. (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) / B.E. (Mechanical Engineering) / B.E. (Bio-Technology) / B.E. (Civil Engineering) / B.E. (Automobile Engineering) / B.E. (Construction Technology Management) / B.E. (Mechatronics) / B.E. (Chemistry) / B.E. (Physics):

Candidates who are willing to take admission should possess the following qualifications:

  • Candidates should have completed the 10+2 level of education with not less than 45% (40% for SC/ST) marks to apply for Oxford College of Engineering admission.

  • Candidates should have studied English/ Physics/ Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subjects:

    • Chemistry

    • Biology

    • Biotechnology

    • Computer Science

    • Electronics


The Application process is through KCET. The candidates must apply to the concerned Examination Authority.


Candidates who possess a valid score in KCET or Common Entrance Test conducted by Karnataka Religious and Linguistic Minority Professional Colleges Association will be called for counseling. 


  • The candidate should have completed Graduation with not less than 50% of marks (45% for SC/ST) to apply for The Oxford College of Engineering, Bangalore admission 2023.

  • The candidates should have a valid score in the concerned qualifying exams such as KMAT, MAT, CAT etc. 


Candidates can apply either through KMAT or any other National Management Aptitude Tests like MAT, CAT etc. 


Candidates who possess a valid score in the concerned qualifying exams such as KMAT, MAT, CAT etc. will be called for counseling. 


  • If a candidate wants to take admission for this course, he or she should have completed Graduation with not less than 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) to apply for Oxford College of Engineering admission 2023.

  • The candidates should have studied any one of the following subjects as an elective subject:

    • Mathematics

    • Business Mathematics

    • Statistics

    • Computer Science

  •  If a candidate has studied the following subjects at 10+2 level he or she will be eligible for this course:

    • Computer Application

    • Computer Programming


Candidates can apply either online through the official website of The Oxford College of Engineering, Bangalore or directly at the College Office.


The college will shortlist candidates as per the eligibility criteria and will be called for counseling. 


M.Tech (Power Electronics) / M.Tech (Digital Electronics and Communication) / M.Tech (Digital Communication and Networking) / M.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering) / M.Tech (Computer Networks Engineering) / M.Tech (Thermal Power Engineering) / M.Tech (Machine Design) / M.Tech (Bio Informatics) / M.Tech (Structural Engineering) / M.Tech (VLSI and Embedded System Design) / M.Tech (Computer Application in Industrial Drives) / M.Tech (Automotive Engineering) 

  • If a candidate wants to take admission in this course then he or she should possess the following qualifications:

    • The candidate should have completed BE or B.Tech with not less than 50% Marks (45% for SC/ST/CAT-I) to apply for The Oxford College of Engineering, Bangalore admission.

    • The candidate should have a valid score in the entrance tests such as Karnataka PGCET, GATE etc.


Candidates can apply either through GATE or PGCET. 


The College will shortlist candidates as per the eligibility criteria and valid scores in the concerned qualifying exams and they will be called for counseling. 


B.Arch:

If a candidate wants to take admission in this course he or she should possess the following qualifications:

  • A candidate should have completed the 10+2 or PUC or any identical level from a recognized board of education with Maths as one of the optional subjects to apply for The Oxford College of Engineering admission 2023.

  • A candidate should have scored not less than 50% marks in all the subjects at 10+2 level (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC/ Karnataka Students/ Students with mental impairedness such as Dyslexia). 

  • A candidate should be qualified in NATA (National Aptitude Test for Architecture).


Candidates can apply through NATA (National Aptitude Test for Architecture).


The college will shortlist candidates as per the eligibility criteria and will call them for counseling.
