ACADEMICS & FACULTY

Thangavelu Engineering College follows the curriculum of Anna University. Most of the staff are very friendly and they help each and every candidate for getting selected in placement and in their studies. Three exams were conducted before the semester exam. Students are given weekly assessments to check their knowledge. Overall here they provide very good academics.

CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS

Thangavelu Engineering College has a good diversity of students. Here the students' culture is not strict like other colleges and it is a friendly free campus. Many fests are taking place in this college like symposium, cultural, sports day, independence day, soil day, green day, etc are often celebrated on our college campus. Also, college is having societies like the National Cadet Corps, Youth Red Cross. Overall we had a great college life with lots of memories.

The college begins at 8:30 a.m.
Assignments are given for every unit, CAT 1 and 2 and model exams are conducted.
Overall experience is fabulous.

CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS

There are various clubs like Rotary, students association club, etc
Cultural, sports meet, annual day, symposium are some of the events that take place.

About Thangavelu Engineering College, [TEC] Chennai

Thangavelu Engineering College was established in the year 1995 by Ponniamman Educational Trust and the TJ Educational Trust with the objective of producing high quality Engineers and Technocrats. The rapid progress made by our country in the field of Science and Technology has given rise to a phenomenal demand for qualified engineers in all areas and to cope up the demand there has been a surge in institutions offering engineering education.

The campus with well built class rooms, fully equipped laboratories, workshops, modern computer center and a well stocked library can be compared to the best available elsewhere. The College is situated in Karapakkam, 10 kms away from Tambaram and 1 km from Sholinganallur, off the Old Mahabalipuram Road (IT Highway) and is well connected by road.
