Swami Shraddhanand College, a constituent college of Delhi University, is run under the trusteeship of the Delhi Government. SSNC offers various UG courses to students. Students who have passed 10+2 or its equivalent qualifying examination with not less than 45% marks in their last academic examination. The selection of the eligible candidates is done only on the basis of their marks scored in the Entrance Exam conducted by the University of Delhi. The programs are full-time courses. The minimum eligibility criterion for these courses includes completing 10+2 or an equivalent in the Science stream with at least 45% marks. Admissions to undergraduate (UG) courses at the University of Delhi are merit-based (that is, based on marks scored in Class XII Board/qualifying examinations) or entrance-based (that is, based on written/ practical tests depending on the course selected by an aspiring student). The applicant must be a citizen of India. The applicant should have passed the Class XII examination of any Board/ University examination in India, recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The applicant should have “passed” individually in each subject required (including practicals if any) for calculating merit and eligibility for the course they seek admission in. Applicants with “compartment” results are not eligible to apply. Applicants with gap year(s) will not be at any disadvantage for the purpose of admission to undergraduate courses. Applicants under the UR/ SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS categories are eligible to seek admission based on both merit and entrance tests to courses in all Colleges/ Departments (except Minority Colleges, wherein some categories may not be applicable). Swami shardhanad college is the part of Delhi University. You will definitely like the new building but the condition of the old building is not up to the mark. The teachers are very helping and supporting. Nice teaching methods.
Students can have snacks and beverages from canteen and outside restaurant. No public transportation is there except DTC.
We should be 12th passed with percentage comparing to the cutoffs. If our percentage falls under the given cutoffs than we are eligible for the admission. Then we have to go within 2 days when the cut off is released and get the documents verified. There are different cut offs for different courses.
Admission is based on merit list. The student can check the merit list of course for which they want to take admission and check there 12 class percentage according to if the cutoff is matched with the student 12 class percentage then students get the admitted in the college.
