Sundargarh Engineering College, Sundargarh started in the year 2007 in one of the Premier Technical Institution in the Western Orissa managed by the Institute of Technical Training a society registered under an SR act for the development of Technical Education. It offers 4 years B.Tech courses in different Engineering branches.The Institute has been situated at Kirei just at a motorable distance from the District headquarter town Sundargarh and is most easily approachable by the State Highway-10 connecting Sambalpur-Jharsuguda-Sundargarh & Rourkela.
