St. Joseph Engineering College offers various scholarships to students who perform well academically. These scholarships are offered based on the eligibility criteria set by the college. More details regarding the SJEC Mangalore scholarships are given below.

Central Scheme Scholarship 

• Merit cum Means Scholarship: Scholarships are available for students from minority communities such as Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jain, and Zoroastrians (Parsis) with an annual income of less than 2.50 lakh rupees.

• Central Sector Scheme of scholarships (MHRD): Students who graduated with a grade point average of at least 80% in the 12th grade are eligible to apply for the St Joseph Engineering College Mangalore scholarship. For all groups under this scheme, the parental/family income ceiling is Rs. 8 lakh per year.

• SC/ST/BCM/Brahmin/General Students with Disabilities, Annual Income- No income restrictions
• Financial Aid for Beedi Wards' Education, Iron Ore, Manganese, and Chrome Ore Mines, Limestone and Dolomite Mines, Cine Worker Scholarship: Students who have worked for at least six months. The worker's family's total monthly income should not exceed Rs.10,000 per month.

AICTE Scholarships

• Pragati Scheme for Empowering Women Through Technical Education provides a scholarship for a girl kid.
• Under the Saksham Scheme, a scholarship for differently-abled students can help them pursue technical education.
• Swanath – students of Orphan, either or both parents perished as a result of Covid-19, Armed Forces Wards and Central Paramilitary Forces martyred in action (Shaheed).

Mangalore City Corporation Scholarship

• SC/ST students with an annual income of less than 5 lakh rupees are eligible for a desktop or laptop computer.
• SJEC Mangalore students with impairments receive a special benefit under the 3% fund system.
• Students with impairments who have excelled in co-curricular activities will receive special consideration.

Karnataka Welfare Board

• KLWB, Bangalore, is seeking eligible children of organised sector workers who work in enterprises or factories to apply for online educational help. Students with a score of 50% in the general category and 45 percent in the SC/ST category are eligible for the SJEC Mangalore scholarship. The monthly income of the parents should not exceed Rs. 15000.
