The government of India freeships for the economically backward class (EBC) are provided.
A student belonging to a Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe can apply for a full Tuition Scholarship.
A student whose parent is a teacher in a primary or secondary school can apply for a scholarship if and only if she has a first class in the S.S.C. or in the University examinations.
The R.W.I.T.C. The scholarship is given for academic excellence.
The Suryalata Doshi Scholarship is given to the student passing the F.Y.B.A. examination with the highest marks.
The Margaret Menezes Scholarship is provided to a T.Y.B.A. Goan student.
The Mafatlal Scholarship is given to the student who comes first in the T.Y.B.A. College examinations in the Sociology groups and Economics (alternately each year).
The SCEDA Scholarship is provided to the student who comes first in the T.Y.B.A. College examinations in the Hindi and English groups (alternately each year).
The Teresa and John Gonsalves Scholarship provided to a student of the F.Y.B.A. class who shows a steady improvement in academic performance during the year.
The Mathew and Martha Rodrigues Scholarship is given to the student who secures the highest marks in Political Science at the S.Y.B.A. Final exam and who offers at least three papers in Political Science for the T.Y.B.A.
N.S.S. Silver Jubilee Scholarship, 1996-97 is given for the best N.S.S. student.
The Dr. Supriya Sengupta Scholarship is provided for T.Y.B.A. (English Single Major) student who gets the highest marks in the T.Y.B.A University Examination.
The Mrs. Shashikala C. Patel Scholarships is given to the students who secure the highest marks at the T.Y.B.A. University Examination in Psychology, Sociology, the Double Major groups and The T.Y.B.Sc. Life Science University Examination.
The Y. A. Jasdanwalla Scholarship to be awarded to the student of the S.Y.B.A./T.Y.B.A./F.Y.B.A. class who has shown a sustained and sincere interest in social work and who has got at least 55% marks at the S.Y.B.A / T.Y.B.A/F.Y.B.A. examination.
