RVR and JC College of Engineering was established by the renowned Nagarjuna Education Society (1967) in the year 1985. It was set up in the year 1985 at Chowdavaram, Guntur. It is one of the first colleges affiliated to the Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU), Guntur and is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation of AICTE. The College drew its initial impetus from Peoples Representatives, local doctors, charitable trusts and commercial houses of Guntur District. The premier status of the institution is made possible by sticking to our core-principles of student-focus, Human Resource Development and emphasis on total quality. The A.P. State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) too awarded the second-best rating in `Academic Audit and Grading` in 2004 and the awards of best performing U.G. College in the university examinations consecutively for the last three years and a place among the top-100 Engineering Colleges in the country completes our history of major achievements. The college vision is to develop integrated manpower with the right attitude, possessing knowledge and skills, required to make an honourable living and contribute to the socio-economic development and welfare of the society. RVR and JC College of Engineering has been providing world-class education in a technical stream from 32 years. It offers B.Tech, MBA, MCA, and M.Tech at UG & PG level respectively. The RVR & JC College of Engineering is recognized both in India and abroad for its academic excellence.
RVR and JC College of Engineering offers a wide range of courses to students. The college has developed a transparent and efficient admission process for aspiring candidates in 2021. RVR and JC College of Engineering admission application forms are to be obtained from the college office i.e offline mode. The college conducts an admission test once at the beginning of the year. Completed application forms along with the submission of original documents should be submitted on or before the notified date. Under Graduate program is offered in eight specializations with a total seat intake of 1260 students. The duration of the UG course is four academic years. A postgraduate program is offered under MBA, MCA and M.Tech streams with the total seat intake of 388 students. The duration of the PG course may vary between one to three years. The admission to the courses is merit-based.
RVR and JC College of Engineering offers B.Tech programs and various M.Tech programs in various disciplines. College also provides MBA and MCA Courses for interested Students. Admission to the various degree courses is done through an examination conducted by the college.

The application process for the UG and PG program is offline. Interested candidates can apply for the respective course at the college on payment of INR 450 as an application fee. Students can apply offline for all the courses offered by the RVR & JC College of Engineering. Candidates can apply directly by visiting the college office. The students have to apply for the respective entrance examinations before submitting the application form at college. Admission is based on merit in qualifying or entrance examination.
The fees for various courses depend on tuition fees and university fees. The first-year fees for B.Tech are INR 112,850 which includes tuition fees as well as university fees. The M.Tech fees comprise of INR 63,570/- for the first year. The MBA fees of the first year are of INR 63,850. RVR and JC College of Engineering fees for MCA consist of INR 49,850.
B. Tech course is offered in different specializations. It is a regular course for the duration of four years. The minimum eligibility for this course is passed in the intermediate examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or any equivalent board recognized by the Acharya Nagarjuna University and a valid rank in EAMCET, Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test.

The college offers six specializations in the M.Tech course. The admission process for the course is offline. The application fee is INR 800 (INR 400 for SC/ST). Candidate must have passed BE/B.Tech degree in Science or Engineering field with a minimum aggregate of 55%. Candidate should have a valid rank in GATE or PGCET examination. For basic eligibility criteria to be fulfilled for the M.Tech program, the candidate should appear for the Postgraduate common entrance test (PGCET) or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).

All the pupil who completed Under Graduation i.e., degree or B.Tech are eligible for this MBA course in our college. There are two types of admission for this course. One is through counseling & the other is by paying full fee i.e., management seat. I-cet is the entrance exam that we should take for entering into this course Cutoffs were decided by the Government. Hence it was a state level exam & it includes all castes & tribes.
• To get admission in RVR and JC College of Engineering, Guntur a candidate should secure Eamcet rank of less than 15000 and admission is also available through Eamcet Convenor
• OC cutoffs For EEE -9000, CSE- 8000, ECE-8500, IT -14000, CIVIL -16000, MECh-18000
Anyone who wants to join in this college needs to crack AP EAMCET entrance exam of AP state board and go through the counseling process. Some management quota seats are also there. Cut-offs keep changing according to year and based on the reservation category.
I took AP EAMCET exam for the admission, there is a management quota available too. The cut offs keep on varying from year to year, our course has a decent cutoff as our college is the most preferred college for the course that I am currently pursuing.
I wrote the EAMCET EXAM as an entrance test to join in this college.
I secured rank 5619. I belong to open category with an economically weaker section reservation. Our family monthly income is less than 1 lakh (60000)
The eligibility is bachelor's of any degree .should be qualified ICET entrance examination ICET gives a rank of our performance in exam .by counselling we can get admission in the college. Cut off is various from one category to another category.
Candidate must clear the AP EAMCET exam and must have passed the 12th from the recognized institute to get admission in this college. The cut off is the rank should be below 10,000.
Eligibility Criteria for diploma was to pass 10+2 exam with a minimum of 65% in aggregate. I entered as a lateral student in this course. I entered through AP EAMCET examination.
