RD National College is a 70 years old institution which was established by Sindhi migrants during the partition of India. It was founded in the year 1949 in Mumbai and is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. It is recognized by UGC. 

RD National College Admission can be done on various courses in undergraduate, postgraduate, junior college and professional programs in the stream of arts, science and commerce.

The College was originally established in 1922 with the blessings of Dr Annie Besant and Rishi Dayaram Gidumal and later it shifted to Bombay in 1949. The college provides every single facility which a student needs for his/her academic, physical,  social, and moral development. The National college believes that one of the most important aspects of higher education is to create an individual who can contribute to national growth through self-learning. 

The College has collaborated with many Industries and Corporate houses. The progressive management, enthusiastic faculty and students ambassadors are working in a direction to accomplish its mission successfully. The College provides a canteen which is situated on the ground floor of the college building. It is opened during college hours. Students with ID card and the faculties are permitted to use the facility.

The Alumni Association of Nationalities (AAN) is growing under the guidance of the president of the college. It was founded in the golden jubilee year of the college. AAN provides freeships to the needy students in the college.

Nature Club:

Natures' club aim's to promote research and culture pertaining to environment-related issues. It helps in all possible inhabitants of the planet earth to make small changes that will lead to a gigantic change in the long run through people’s participation.

Women Development Cell (WDC):

National College has formed a Women Development Cell whose primary objective is to address the issues related to women staff and students of the college and create a safe environment for them. 

NSS:

RD National & WA Science College Admissions:

The National college Mumbai is known as a linguistic minority institution. 50% of the college seats are reserved for Sindhi Minority Community in every course. Students who are seeking admission to the college should apply in the Application form duly completed and signed by the applicant and parent/guardian. The following documents are necessary at the time of admission.

• Original Leaving certificate
• 4 attested Xerox copies of Mark-sheet
• 4 attested Xerox copies of Leaving Certificate
• 2 photographs of the student
• Proof of Residence ( Electrical Bill/Telephone Bill/Rent Agreement/Ration Card/Aadhar Card )

Candidates should come along with at least one parent. For the student whose parents are not staying in Mumbai, a local guardian can accompany. Admission for the Reserved Category students is done by the approval of certificates by appropriate Government Authorities.
