• For the candidates admission to the B.Tech degree course the minimum requirements are as follows:
• Biotechnology: Candidates must have at least 50% marks in aggregate in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology/ Agriculture.
• Food Technology: Candidates must have at least 50% marks in aggregate in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/ Agriculture or a Certificate in Food Processing from SLIET Longowal.
• Agricultural Engineering: Candidates must have at least 50% marks in aggregate in 10+2 (Non-Medical) or equivalent.
• For the admission to the B.Sc (Hons) degree course the candidates must have fulfill the following:
• Agriculture: Candidates must have at least 50% marks in aggregate in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/ Agriculture or a Diploma in the relevant discipline for 2 years.
• Community Science: Candidates must have at least 50% marks in aggregate in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/ Agriculture/ Home Science.
• Nutrition & Dietetics: Candidates must have at least 50% marks in aggregate in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/ Agriculture/ Home Science.
• Architecture: Candidates must have at least 65% in aggregate in matriculation or equivalent in the compulsory subjects.
• Fashion Designing: Candidates must have at least 50% marks in aggregate in 10+2 or equivalent in any stream.

• For the admission to the M.Sc degree course the candidates must have a B.Sc degree in their respective subject they want to choose for specialization with at least 60% marks.
• For the Integrated M.Sc degree course admission the candidates must have at least 50% marks in aggregate in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/ Agriculture.
• For being eligible for admission to the M.Tech course the University requires applicants to have 60% in Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in relevant disciplines as per specialization.
• The eligibility criteria for MBA in PAU Ludhiana are as follows:
• Business Administration: Candidates must be a Graduate in any discipline with at least 60% marks.
• Agri-Business: Candidates must be a Graduate in any field of Agricultural Sciences or allied subjects with at least 60% marks
• Candidates must be a graduate in any discipline with at least 60% marks for admission to the MCA course.
• The MJMC admission requires that the candidates must have 60% marks in their Graduation in any discipline/ Second class Master’s degree/ Second class graduate with Diploma in Journalism.
