PAU Ludhiana Placements: Punjab Agricultural University provides the students with all the facilities and necessary training required for going through the recruitment process. The University is full of opportunities in terms of research and development. The students are given proper guidance regarding their research and how should it be approached. The University also has its own incubation center. The aim of the incubation center is to fill the gap between a farmer and a food industry and to develop new techniques that can help both the recipients.
Basically, you don't get a job just after bachelors. You have to do M.Sc For 2 years along to get a decent job. The campus placement is not good, one has to apply outside. And most of the companies picking you up will be pharmaceutical or agro-based ie. Himalaya, Nestle etc. and besides from that, there is teaching option available. Average salary goes around INR 2.5 lakhs per annum to INR 4 lakhs per annum. Alumni's network is huge with members from last 30-40 years and an alumni meet is held every year.

INTERNSHIP - currently i will start my 3rd year in B.Tech Food Technology but I can tell that full 4th year is of training, half year training in campus and half year depending on student choice [not by university]
