Punjab Agricultural University awards scholarships to students depending on their academic achievements and financial circumstances. SGHE Scholarship: Since 1987-88, Guru Harkrishan Educational Society has been granting scholarships to deserving students pursuing vocational, professional, technical, medical, engineering, managerial, teaching, and postgraduate studies. The scholarship eligibility is mentioned below.
- The student applying for a PAU scholarship must have received a minimum of 60% in the prior examination. The monthly income of the students' parents shall not exceed Rs 25000 (excluding house rent allowance and fixed medical allowance in the case of employees/pensioners).
- Students may not receive a scholarship or any other form of financial aid from any other source. PAU students enrolled in any professional or vocational program, including medical, managerial, technical, teaching, scientific, engineering, computer technology, and postgraduate courses, can apply.
