Summer Training/Internships-College conducts summer training 2nd year onwards for Engg. students.Various designing software like AutoCAD, Auto Desk Inventor, and  analysis software  like ANSYS are generally taught to mechanical students in NIEC,New Delhi. Although, students are free to join outside training program of other agencies ( But during summer vacations only..i.e., 1-2 months). College also organizes Personality Development Programme, Aptitude Classes and other Pre-Placement activities required for overall growth of an Engg. student. Various seminars are also conducted time to time in the auditorium. Note-No stipend is given at college level during summer training/internship. I have done my internship from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd in 2nd year, but no stipend was given. ALUMNI- Our college has an active alumni association. there is an alumni cell established in our college. NIEC,New Delhi is going to organise a alumni meet on 05/NOV/2016 for the pass out students of our college.    

Entrance Exams & Admissions : NIEC, New Delhi is affiliated to GGSIP University, New Delhi. Course Code For B.Tech Course-131. Admission in B.Tech Course is through Common Entrance Test (IPU CET), which is every year conducted by GGSIP University, New Delhi An applicant must fulfill the following eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech Course.  An Applicant must have passed class 12th exams (CBSE/state board/equivalent board). They must have obtained an aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, provided they have passed in each subject separately. Candidates must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective or functional).  Upper Age limit is 21 years. Students, who are in class 12, can apply for IPU CET, provided they meet the eligibility criteria at the time of counseling.       Note:- There is no additional eligibility criteria of colleges affiliated to GGSIP University for Admission to B.Tech Course. 3rd cutoff (sliding round) of B.Tech(Mechanical and Automation Engg) for delhi general candidate is as follows- Min Rank is-14453, Max Rank-45682 Note-After 3rd round (sliding round)- offline/spot counselling is conducted by GGSIP University for admission against vacant seats in B.Tech Course.

Fees & Scholarships :   FEES Total annual fee for B.Tech Ist year student from 2016 onwards in NIEC,New Delhi-Rs. 106,500/= (There is no any other hidden charge) Annual fees for B.Tech 2nd,3rd and 4th year students is less than  Rs .106,500/-per annum (There is no any other hidden charge) Note- Our College doesn't have hostel and mess facilities. FEE is paid through Demand Draft in favour of NORTHERN INDIA ENGINEERING COLLEGE payable at NEW DELHI SCHOLARSHIPS There are several scholarship scheme available for all the students of NIEC,New Delhi 1) There is a financial assistance scheme for the students of GGSIP university under EWS category. This scholarship is given annualy to the poor and needy students of GGSIP university.  2)University toppers and year wise toppers from our college are also awarded by the college administration through the cash awards. 3)Students of our college are also eligible for scholarship schemes time to time announced by the Delhi state/Central Govt., such as  Central sector scholarship scheme,Post Matric scholarship scheme. etc. 4) Students our college,  who are from  outside delhi can also apply under the scholarship scheme of their respective states/UTs Note- A student has to register at National Scholarship Portal to apply for diffrent scholarship scheme of state/central govt. Ever year, several  eligible students of our college get scholarship under diffrent scholarship schemes. Most of the scholarship schemes are available in online mode, and mainly scholarship is transferred through direct benefit transfer in the bank account of student. Education Loan NIEC,New Delhi is an AICTE approved institution. Therefore, any student of our college can avail the facility of education loan from any nationalised bank of india, such as, State Bank of India,Indian Bank,Punjab National Bank, HDFC Bank etc.  Education Loan is easily accessible from these banks also.

Academics & Faculty : College Routine 1) College Timings Of NIEC,New Delhi is 8:15am to 3:10pm. A lecture is of 55 min duration Method Of teaching 2) Our college has sufficient teaching and nonteaching staff in all departments. 3) The faculty is well experienced and qualified as per university norms. 4) Guest lectures are provided to the students of our college. 5) E-lectures and projector studies are also provided to the students. 6) The main emphasis is given to practical learning. Overall Experience NIEC,New Delhi is a good place for learners.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : NO HOSTEL  AND MESS FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE IN OUR COLLEGE,BUT A SPACIOUS CANTEEN IS AVAILABLE. FACILITIES. 1) Our college has a great infrastructure. College is spread over 9 Acres of land 2) There are four interconnected blocks and a separate block for first-year students. 3) College has a large playground with all sports facilities 4) Our college has indoor games facilities too. 5)Wi-fi enabled campus 6) An auditorium of 200 sitting capacity, fully AC. 7) Well furnished LABS and classrooms 8) Central library is available 9) 24x7 security. 10) Medical room is also available.   

Clubs & Associations : 1) Our College has its official dance, singing, street play, sports, technical and non-technical societies etc. 2) SUPRA AND BAHA are the automobile societies of our college. 3) Our college is also associated with NITTO. 4) Our college is handling various govt-funded research projects, such as hybrid satellite projects sponsored by Dept. of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. 5) INNOVIS AND FNORD  annual techno-cultural fest of our college. 6) Life at NIEC,New Delhi is awesome.
