Entrance Exams & Admissions : To get admission in NIT Delhi, one must give the Joint Entrance Examination(JEE Main) which will be conducted by National Testing Agency(NTA) from 2019 onwards. While students who completed their Higher Secondary School outside India will have to give the Direct Admission of Students Abroad(DASA) Examination. After the publication of respective results, students must register in Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). Entrance Exams & Admissions : Admission is based upon your rank in jee mains exam, which is held every year in April. Cutoff released by josaa, students get admission based on cutoff only. I took jee mains exam after 12th, and jee advance later. Basically, the cutoff is around 20k all India rank for Delhi students and much lower for outside Delhi students.
