Bishwajeet Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Mechanical Engineering), batch of 2017
INFRASTRUCTURE & TRANSPORTATION
Infrastructure is good even though Campus is small. Laboratories are maintained regularly. Class is spacious. Apart from this, students do not seem to enjoy facilities like - wifi, libraries. Books in the library are inadequate, not up-to-date and that is the major concern for any visiting faculty.
PLACEMENTS & ALUMNI NETWORK
Being a new college, students struggle here to get placed in the companies.
Placements are only for branches like CSE, EEE. Mechanical branch's students have to wait desperately for placements.
FEES AND SCHOLARSHIP
The course fee is Rs 35,000 per annum.
Students here are reimbursed by state government meaning that everyone study free of cost. As I belong to out-of-state candidate which makes me difficult to avail the scholarship.
Almost 70% students receive scholarship from government except students of other states.
ACADEMICS & FACULTY
College begins at 9.30 AM. - Its difficult to speak about the teachers; Many of them have either no experience or got no interest for teaching. Teacher and student relationship, which every college seeks, cannot be seen here.
The way of teaching is old-fashioned and many of them use regional language all the time while teaching. Projects are not carried in proper way due to lack of guidance. Forget about the sports and extra-curriculum activities.
