MGMMC Indore, also known as Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College Indore was established in 1948. The college conducted the First All India Pediatrics Conference in 1955. It is one of the state's oldest and most prestigious educational institutions. The College is run by the government and approved by MCI. The college considers NEET UG, NEET PG, and NEET SS  for admission to various courses MBBS, MD/ MS/ PG Diploma, and M.Ch/ DM.

MGMMC Indore offers various UG, PG, diploma and PhD programs in various fields such as medical, dental, nursing, pharmacy, and paramedical science. This is one of Central India's biggest tertiary care centres with numerous academic departments in anatomy, biophysics, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, forensic medicine, anaesthesia, pharmacology and paediatrics.
