Mata Sundri College for Women admission is open for various UG, PG courses. The college is an institution that strives to achieve excellence in higher education and women empowerment. A constituent college of the University of Delhi, the college was founded on 17th July 1967 by the Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee, Delhi State. The college is proud to have a strength of 4066 vibrant young women in the college. There are 150 distinguished faculty members and 64 members of the non-teaching staff. With its extremely well-qualified teaching faculty and an efficient support staff backing them, the college provides an ideal learning environment for the young women as they embark on their journey of life, giving shape to their most cherished dreams and wings to their creative pursuits. It provides a liberal education in Humanities, Commerce as well as Sciences. The college is one of the eight colleges of University of Delhi which offer the B.El.Ed course is an integrated professional degree program. Intending to encourage skill-based education, the college offers many skill development programs like basic and advanced courses in Computers, Travel & Tourism, Textile Designing, Foreign Languages, etc.
The college offers 11 Major Disciplines which include Commerce, Economics, Hindi, History, Mathematics, Philosophy, Political Science, Punjabi, Psychological Science, and Sanskrit. Under the three years, the undergraduate program the college offers seventeen different courses. The college offers Post Graduate courses in Punjabi, Hindi, Sanskrit and Political Science. The college also offers Vocational courses in Computer Application, Textile Designing, Travel and Tour Management and Foreign Languages courses in Spanish, German and French. The college is divided into various departments depending on the disciplines. The college offers 11 Major Disciplines which include Commerce, Economics, Hindi, History, Mathematics, Philosophy, Political Science, Punjabi, Psychological Science, and Sanskrit. Under the three years UG programme, the college offers seventeen different courses. The students can choose the specializations depending on their preferences. All the courses are for a term of 3 years that is 6 semesters. The college also offers a four-year B.EL.Ed course which is available only in eight colleges of Delhi University. The institute offers admission to the undergraduate courses for which a higher secondary examination qualified students can apply for admission. All the courses except B.El.Ed is three years long. B.El.Ed is a course for 4 years.

Mata Sundri College also offers short term (Basic level) courses in various foreign languages. All the courses are conducted as per the International Standards to equip our students with proficiency in the following major foreign languages – French, German and Spanish. They are conducted in collaboration with the Department of Germanic and Romance Studies, University of Delhi. Candidates who have passed the Certificate Examination of the University of Delhi in a language or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto are eligible to apply for admission to the Diploma Course in that language. Admissions will be made strictly in order of merit of the respective certificate course examination. There will be qualifying examinations in both theory and practical at the end of the academic session. The minimum pass percentage will be 50% aggregate. The successful student will be awarded:
All three courses will be taught in the English medium. The minimum passing percentage will be 50% for all the courses. All those students who have passed 10+2 class examination/ 1st/ 2nd/ 3rd year examination conducted by the University of Delhi and have registered themselves on the DU admission portal with the cut off of 50% in 12th class examination can take admission in a certificate in French, German and Spanish. The fee structure for the certificate will be INR 9000/- per language.
The college offers Post Graduate courses in Punjabi, Hindi, Sanskrit and Political Science. Master of Arts (MA) is a full-time two-year postgraduate course and it is offered by the University of Delhi, Delhi.

In Mata sundri college of women there are only few categories - general , Sikh minority quota , obc and physically disabled Admission are done on the basis of Merit list. If you are adding physical education in the sum of your best four then there will be deduction of 10 marks from your total (2.5%). Same is for change in stream for eg. from commerce to BA prog then there will be deduction from 2.5%-5% marks.

The admission procedure is same as the other colleges from Delhi University.The teachers and the staff all are very helpful and helps the students in every work.The cutoff for this course is very high when it comes to the other colleges of Delhi University but this being an off-campus college the cutoff is quite a low one.

Candidate must clear the JEE MAIN exam and must have passed the 12th from the recognized institute to get admission in this college. No separate entrance exam is conducted. Minimum 95% cutoff is required.
