• As many as twelve departments of the University have been identified under DRS-SAP, eight departments under DSC-FIST, nine departments under UGC BSC Non-SAP and two departments under DST-INSPIRE  programmes
• Kakatiya University established Memorandum of Understanding [MoU] with several universities and research institutes for collaborative research
• Among the affiliated colleges, the University has 395 Arts & Science, 3 Law, 8 Engineering, 53 Education, 38 Management, 8 MCA and 24 Pharmacy colleges under its jurisdiction
• SC and ST cell has taken up problems of SC/ ST students & employees with the university authorities and solved some of them in a good manner
• The Foreign relations office of the University works in the direction of maintaining the relations with the foreign universities and it helps in signing MOUs with them
• Department of Social Welfare, Hyderabad and ITDA project officer, were requested to help the students pursuing self-finance courses in providing funds and sanctioning of tuition fees to students
