JSS Ayurveda Medical College BAMS Program

BAMS "Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery" is in full form. It is an undergraduate medical course. The BAMS course duration is 5 1/2 years, with the final year being a mandatory internship duration; students have to work in the areas assigned to them as an intern. Ayurveda has been in India for more than thousands of years and has gained many prominences here. BAMS is a different medical course in which students are trained to treat patients with only Ayurvedic medicine. Ayurveda can treat most diseases that can't be treated with Western medicine.
