Admission to the JIMS Vasant Kunj courses is done purely based on merit and the candidates are required to take JET (JIMS Entrance Test) followed by a personal interview. Based on their performance on the JIMS Entrance Exam, the shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a personal interview (JET). The candidates are finally chosen based on their general performance in the JIMS Entrance Exam and Personal Interview (JET).

The written /online test for all the courses, other than Interior Design, Fashion Design and Mass Communication is divided into the following sections mentioned below.
