Placements & Internships : As a student, I am incredibly satisfied with placement opportunities provided by our department. Jims VK-II boasts a stellar 100% placement rate for the interior design program. Top industry recruiters like LIVSPACE, HOMELANE, GODREJ etc. actively visit our campus for recruitment. The packages are highly competitive, featuring an average packages of 5LPA. The college mandates a summer internship after the second year, which often converts into pre-placement offers.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Admission to the Interior Design program at JIMS VK-II requires 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in any stream. The application form cost 1070. Selection relies on the JIMS Entrance Test (JET) and personal interview.

Fees & Scholarships : The total 3year fees for the interior design program at my college is around 5.50 lakhs, with an annual tuition. Merit based tuition fees waivers ranging from 10% to 50% are awarded to students scoring 75% or above in their 12th boards alongside specific waivers for sports and defends wards. The campus ensures 100% placement support with top firms with average packages of 5lakhs. Financial tie-ups with major nationalized banks make securing education loans straightforward.

Academics & Faculty : the curriculum perfectly balance design theories with practical software applications ( Autocad, 3ds max, Revit). We cover layout planning, furniture design and material estimation making it fully career focused. The faculty members are incredibly supportive, highly qualified and encourage interactive learning. They provide individual attention during drafting sessions and arrange brilliant monthly site visit to ensure real- world exposure.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : as a student , I found campus compact but highly functional. The classrooms fully air-conditioned and wi-fi enabled and the library has a great collection of design books. for our department, the drafting studios and high-end computer labs with AutoCad and 3ds Max are amazing for practical work. While now we have hostel facility near by the campus only and very nominal charges.

Clubs & Associations : As a student, campus life at JIMS VK-II balanced hard work with vibrant creative experiences. The social life is closely-knit and the atmosphere thrives on peer collaboration. we have active cultural cells and department- specific platform like DESIGN HARVEST CLUB, which hosts experimental activities like layout mapping and scale guessing. The absolute highlight for our department is 'DESIGN SANTUSHTI" the annual interior design exhibition where we build and showcase theme-based furniture
