Academics & Faculty : For 1st years It might seem a bit hectic as 1st years have classes from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM and again labs(3 times a week) from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM,Morning PT for only 1st years from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM (you have to pass this anyhow.)Good amount of assignments to keep you busy, 3 Exams (Mid Sem -1, Mid Sem -2 and End Sem).Projects are generally only one in 1 or 2 subjects in a semester. The quality of teaching is really good as most of the professors teaching are P.hd and Research Mentors, which make a very friendly and healthy relation between students and Professors.Methods of teaching are really good as we get practical as well as theoretical exposure to the subject. Academically It's good, For research It's one of Finest college in India. So overall good

Entrance Exams & Admissions : There are 4 modes of admission to get into IIIT-H,1. Through JEE-Mains on the basis of JEE mains score.2. Through IIIT-H's Written exams and followed by an interview for Linguistics and Humanities Branch, (* humanities admissions were not done in the year 2016).3. Through DASA mode on the basis of your BITSAT scores.4. Through Olympiads like KVPY, IMO, etc. I took JEE-Mains, JEE-Advance, BITSAT. Cutoffs for my course(B.Tech + Ms. In computer Science, 5 Year course) is generally 245-255 in JEE-Mains.

Placements & Internships : I Haven't done any Internships yet. Key Companies are IT only. CSE: Avg of 18.53 LPA with Highest of 35.0 LPA.ECE: Avg of 13.44 LPA with Highest of 27.50 LPA.% placed = 100%. Awesome Alumni Network as one can find many IIIT-H seniors in most of the top IT companies, and they also they are very helpful in case of any questions/fundas regarding placements and other things.Happens periodically Alumni meets and Alumni's living in Hyderabad are very frequent visitors in the college, so a good chance to meet them and explore regarding the outer Business World.

Fees & Scholarships : Per year for B.Tech + MS integrated course at IIIT Hyderabad is about 2.5-2.6 Lakhs.(Tution fee increases by 5k every year.) There is no as such Scholarships from the college side. Not Applicable. Yes for some it's needed for some it's not.It's Easy to get loan, If you are a localite as SBH bank has a branch in campus and they very easily give you loan if You are a localite.For Non-localites it's a bit tough but there are banks like SBI, PNB, IDBI, etc which avail loans but will need effort and time to avail loans along with proper documents.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Total 5 Hostels, Double Occupancy for 1st and 2nd years and Single for 3rd year and onwards.Hostels are good, clean, spacious and really well maintained.Hostel fee: Rs.13-15000 per semester. All the students have to stay in college,No day scholar option are present. There are 4 messes in the college and the quality of food is good, really it's very good.

Clubs & Associations : Quiz Club, Dance Club, MUN Club, Movie Club, Robotics Club, Music Club( started teaching Guitar lessons recently),Students Parliament, Runners group, etc. The main is College Fest FELICITY, apart from that some cultural festivals are also celebrated like Ganesh Chaturthi, Janmashtami(Haandi Phone), Garba Night, Deepawali, etc.Freshers Night, Cultural Night are the 2 cultural events happens in 2 semesters apart from all the above.Sports Day(Inter Houses) in Odd semesters and Inter-Batch in Even Semesters for all the games like Football, Cricket, Badminton, Volleyball, Chess, Carrom, TT, etc. Overall Campus life is enjoyable and peaceful, If you don't have many expectations from the college, being a new college as compared to many long-established colleges still IIIT-H has made his name.A good and friendly ambiance and peaceful environment.One of the best things I like is a low strength, due to which I get to about the entire campus.
