Post Graduate Program [PGP] Details

IIM Bangalore PGP-EM is a postgraduate program for working professionals. It is a part-time management course offered during weekends with the idea of providing classes without compromising a full-time job. At the end of the course, students are awarded MBA degrees.

Admission to the IIM Bangalore PGP-EM program is possible with a valid CAT/GMAT/GRE or IIMB exam score.

IIM Bangalore PGP-EM Eligibility Criteria

The IIM Bangalore PGP-EM eligibility criteria include a graduation degree with 50% (45% for SC/ST students). Students who do not have their graduation degree but have finished courses like CA/CS or CWS after their Class 12th can also apply for admission.

Students in their last year of graduation are not eligible since admission requires students to have 4 years of paid to unpaid relevant work experience after graduation to be eligible for admission.

IIM Bangalore PGP-EM Admission

IIM Bangalore PGP-EM admission 2003 is based on the entrance exam score- CAT/GMAT/ GRE or IIMB entrance test. A list of students is created based on the test scores, and selected students are called for the interview process.

After the interview, a final merit list of students is prepared for admission based on scores of the entrance exam, the interview process, past academic record, and work experience.

Application Procedure

The IIM Bangalore PGP-EM application procedure includes information sessions. Students are encouraged to attend those for full information and understanding of the procedure. Before applying for admission, students must appear for one of the given entrance exams. Once the results have been announced, the application procedure begins. Students must follow these steps:

• Generate registration ID and password.
• Fill out the application form.
• Upload the required documents, photo, and signature.
• Pay the application fees.

Entrance Exam

For PGP-EM, admission based on GMAT/ CAT or GRE scores. Those who do not have valid scores of these exams can appear for the IIM B entrance exam.

IIM Bangalore PGP-EM fees is updated every year where tuition fee may increase by 5%-15%. The total fee for PGP-EM is INR 20.21 Lakhs. It includes a tuition fee of INR 20.11 Lakhs and INR 10,000 of caution deposit.
