IEC College of Engineering and Technology was established in 1981. Sh. R.L. Gupta laid the foundation stone of the group. IEC group has 7 branches and more than 275 franchise centres in India and other countries like Nepal, Maldives, Singapore, and Oman. It is approved by All India Council of Technical Education [AICTE] and Pharmacy Council of India [PCI]. It is affiliated to Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University [APJAKTU], Lucknow. The group offers impeccable placement opportunities. It provides state of the art hostel facilities.

Ever since its inception, the group is working on core ICT projects by Delhi Government, Rajasthan Government and Government of Madhya Pradesh. The group has trained over 10000 students over the years. IEC College of Engineering and Technology Admissions is offered for courses under Science, Technology and Mangement, Vocational Education, Pharmacy, Hotel Management, Computer Education and many more.
