As, other colleges, my college doesn't give stipend during internship but around every college, if you take holiday you got extensions. My college doesn't give extensions and has a cool atmosphere for students. We have camps to different places and our college is the best.
Entrance Exams & Admissions :
I passed my secondary education and gave PMT(Premedical test) but now it has been replaced by NEET. Those students aspiring to make a career in medical science now have to appear for a common national level medical entrance test, called NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Under Graduate). During my time it was on the basis of state level and we were supposed to give different tests for different states. So, I scored around 484 marks out of 800 and managed to get a BDS seat in Himachal dental college Sundernagar district Mandi H.P. It is semi-government College and I took admission on the basis of merit so my fees were around 50 thousand annually my college also offers management seats who would like to have.
Fees & Scholarships :
Fees depend on your admission criteria it. If you get the seat on merit basis then fees are less and management seats fees are higher. Meritorious students are awarded scholarships.
Academics & Faculty :
Every day college starts around 9:30 am. We have 1-hour lunch break and college ends at 4:30 pm We are often given seminars which are then discussed and presented in class. Every department provides different seminars for our understanding. Teachers are too good they explain through videos projects and seminars. Teachers are so cool and even strict when they have to always ready to help.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
There are 3 hostels one girl's hostel one boy's hostel and one hostel for postgraduates. There are many pg's near our college at around 5 or 6 thousand per month(INR). College food is great and hostel students have to have 60 thousand per year for food. Classrooms are high tech library is so good we have a good campus.
Clubs & Associations :
Every year we have a sports week Fun week in which different dress codes are arranged and functions are performed for a week then we have freshers for new students and farewell for those who are going and annual day Life is full of the mixture of studies and other curricular activities even college is decorated so beautiful during festivals.
