Gauhati Medical College was established on 20 September 1960. It is affiliated with the Srimanta Sankaradeva Institute of Health Sciences and recognized by MCI. Admission is strictly determined by the Entrance Test administered by All India Selection Committees(NEET) for all undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. GMCH Guwahati Admission

GMCH Guwahati Admission 2022 is now open and offers one undergraduate medical course, MBBS. The duration of this course is 4 and a half years as well as one compulsory rotational internship of one year. All applicants to the undergraduate medical program must be of 17 years of age by the end of the calendar year.

GMCH Guwahati Eligibility Criteria

Admission to undergraduate medical courses is granted based on state-level and national-level entrance. All applicants are required to give the NEET UG exam. The eligibility criteria for the courses are mentioned below

MBBS Eligibility Criteria

• The student should have cleared 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology 
• The student has qualified for the NEET UG entrance exams.

MD/MS  Eligibility Criteria

• The student has completed MBBS/BAMS with a minimum aggregate score of 50%, with a 1-year compulsory internship. Also, a minimum aggregate score of 60% at the level of graduation.
• The candidate should qualify for the state entrance exam for PG like NEET PG.

M.Ch Eligibility Criteria

• It is an equivalent course to MS
• The candidate should qualify NEET UG entrance exam.
