Gargi College Application Form

The application form to all the courses provided by Gargi College is available on their official website. Once the applicants are selected they must pay the fees as per the Gargi College fee structure on or before the stipulated date. The interested candidates can fill the form following the below given steps:

      1. Visit the official webportal of Gargi College, Delhi University.
      2. Navigate to the Admission tab and click on ‘Admission Portal’ for the required programme.
      3. Register for the course using valid email ID and other details.
      4. Login with the registered details and fill the application form carefully. 
      5. Upload the prescribed documents and pay the application processing fee.
      6. Submit the form online and keep a printed copy for future reference.

The applicants must produce the original and two self-attested copies of the following documents at the time of admission: 

      • Class 10th Marksheet or Certificate which includes date of birth and Parents names

      • Graduation Marksheet or Certificate ( for PG course)
      • Caste Certificate (in the name of the applicant) issued by the competent authority, if applicable
      • OBC (Non-creamy layer) Certificate, if applicable
      • EWS Certificate from the competent authority stating that the applicant can claim reservation under this category
      • Character Certificate
      • Transfer Certificate from School/ College as well as Migration Certificate from Board/ University for students who completed their senior secondary examination from outside Delhi

At the Bachelor’s Level the College provides BA, B.Com and B.Sc courses under the University of Delhi. All the Undergraduate courses are offered for a duration of 3 academic years comprising of six semesters.

BA (Hons.) in Hindi Passed 10+2 with 45% marks and Hindi as one of the compulsory subjects OR Completion of 10+2 with an aggregate of 40% and 50% marks in the subject concerned OR Passed Intermediate examination with 40% marks along with 'Prabhakar in Hindi'.

Gargi College, Delhi University offers an MA in English and Political Science and M.Sc in Chemistry at the Master’s level. The academic duration of all the Postgraduate programme is 2 years comprising of four semesters.

There were 3 cut off lists for Zoology Hons the year I took admission. It started from 95% and above and ended at 90%. These percentages were representative of the cumulative percentage of 3 main subjects in 12th including biology. All those eligible according to the cut off list and interested in joining Gargi could simply come with the required documents, which included the marksheet, transfer and character certificate , DU registration form and so on, to the administrative block , contact the main office and get admission .

I got admission through sports quota. But generally, the eligibility criteria for BSc. Botany (H) is to pass 10+2 from the recognized board with aggregate marks in PCB and they must qualify the respective cut-off list for the course. I didn't take any entrance exams. 91-95% is the rough cutoffs for Botany (H).
