Media club, National service society, Arts club, Nature club,  Eco-clubs are the major clubs in the college. Xenium college fest, aura, and various department- wise fest are popular in the college. The college life in Emmanuel college is like a dream that we lived for three years.


INFRASTRUCTURE & TRANSPORTATION

Hostel facilities are available for girls and boys separately. Affordable hostels fees, INR 3500/- per month. Neat and tidy atmosphere in hostels will give you a homely feel and the food that was supplied at the mess was tasty as well as healthy. Our college has a well established canteen with various delicacies that were prepared with extreme effort and care. All those food supplied through the college canteen were purely home made food. Lunch available at college canteen ranges from INR 25/- to 50/- per meal. Veg and non-veg are available. Labs are well equipped with new equipment. Classrooms are always under CCTV surveillance. Wi-fi is available under the initiative of computer science department. Well established library with more than 70000 books and research papers.


ACADEMICS & FACULTY

Morning classes will start at 9.30 am. Lunch break is at 12.45 pm. Afternoon classes start at 1.30 pm. The class will be dispersed at 3.20 pm. Projects and assignments are decided by the tutors as per the syllabus issued by the university. Exams are also decided by the University of Kerala. And all the details regarding syllabus, projects, exams, results etc are available at the university website. All the tutors of the colleges are well qualified experienced professionals. Teachers are teaching in a very friendly manner.


FEES AND SCHOLARSHIP

Course fees are semester based. Course fees per year will be INR 38,000/- approximately. Various scholarships are available for eligible students.

Campus placements are done by Infosys and Wipro in previous years. Initial salary offered was INR 15000/-


Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process

Tha admissions can be done through online registration provided by the authenticate websites. Management seats are also available to get admission. Those who want to get an admission should pass matriculation and higher secondary education with pass marks.

  • There is a college fest named XENIUM which was started from the last year(2016).

  • As Emmanuel College is situated in a remote area, the infrastructure is poor.
  • There is only one hostel for girls and only rented houses for boys.
  • It may cost around rs_6000 per month per head as hostel fee.
  • College canteen is so not satisfactory.
  • Library is a good.
  • There is no mobile phones or such devices allowed inside the campus.
  • there's no WiFi as well.

ACADEMICS & FACULTY

  • The classes at Emmanuel College start at 9:30 am and ends at 3:30 pm.
  • In between, you'll get a 10-minute recess and a lunch break last for 50 minutes.
  • Teaching standards are just average.
  • There is no much importance given to extracurricular activities in this college.

  • Bcom students have three options at Emmanuel College.
  • Whether to opt 'Computer applications, tourism and travel management, or finance as main papers.
  • As a student Bcom travel and tourism management student it is mandatory to complete a 30-day internship program to get the course completed.
  • But it is not applicable to the students who have finance or computer applications as their main papers.
  • There will be no stipend or scholarship provided from the side of the college.
  • The campus placement by this college only includes companies or jobs who offer a maximum of Rs.1 lakh per annum.
  • There is an alumni association which is satisfactory.

  • After getting the HSC  results, Apply online as per the guidelines provided by the Kerala University.
  • Wait for the allotments.
  • If your name is there on the list you can surely get admission in Emmanuel College.
  • Also if there are vacant seats, you can get them on the managent basis.
  • The fee is the for both management as well as merit seats.
  • Though there are no entrance exams for getting admission in this college ( 12th pass certificate is mandatory ).
