Durgadevi Saraf Institute of Management Studies was established by the Rajasthani Sammelan Educational Trust in Mumbai in 2010. The trust began in 1948 in Mumbai intending to promote various educational activities and at present, there are more than 15,000 students who are receiving their education through various institutions run by the trust. The Durgadevi Saraf Institute of Management Studies Admission is offered in management and related fields.

This institute was started to provide quality education to students in the field of management and is one of the very few business schools in India that offers a unique two-year program and many innovative programs with a clear focus on business studies, intellectual discipline, and a sense of teamwork approach.

They have strong ties with industries and each course is delivered by a combination of academicians and practicing business leaders to give a blend of concepts and practical application to students.

The Institute offers Masters in Management Studies [MMS] affiliated to the University of Mumbai with a specialization in Marketing, Finance, HR, and Operations. It has also be ranked by the National Institutional Ranking Framework [NIRF].

Post Graduate Diploma in Management [PGDM] is the flagship program of this institute and is approved by AICTE and the Government of Maharashtra, Department of Technical Education. PGDM provides students with the same four functional areas as in MMS but with an additional feature that, its specialization tracks are regularly orchestrated with the ever-changing needs of the industries. 

Other courses part of this institute is the Part-Time Master's Degree Program [MMM, MFM, MHRDM], affiliated to the University of Mumbai. Apart from the above-mentioned courses, there are some other short-term courses & programs, like the Executive program in Management [EPM], Post Graduate Program in Managing Family Business [PGPMFB], Diploma in Entrepreneurship & Business Planning for Women [DEW], and Management Development Program [MDP] & Faculty Development Program [FDP]. DSIMS Placement is consistently improving and many of their students are working for reputed companies today.

• The scholars are selected by faculty members and the list is forwarded to the trust for the final decision.

BKT Endowment Freeship Fund 

• This DSIMS Scholarship is introduced to provide freeship to those students who cannot afford education due to lack of funds.
• BKT Endowment Freeship Fund is sponsored by Balkrishna Industries Ltd. to award freeships to deserving students of all the institutions of Rajasthani Sammelan.

Jankidevi Bubna Freeship Fund

• Jankidevi Bilasrai Bubna Endowment Freeship Fund gives scholarships to the needy and deserving students studying in various educational institutes under RSET.
• It gives the much needed financial support to such students who do not have the financial support to pursue their education.

Durgadevi Saraf Institute of Management Studies Collaborations:

• Durgadevi Saraf Institute of Management Studies started collaborating with a couple of European and American universities in different facets, like- International Student & Faculty Exchange Program and International Research Collaboration.
• Students visit many institutes of international recognition during their association with the institute.
• In 2016 students visited the ESSCA Management Institute in Hungary and Northumbria University of East London as part of the collaborative agreement.
• The Rajasthani Sammelan Educational Trust and the University of East London signed a Memorandum of Understanding [MOU] on 19th June 2015, crafting an agreement for collaboration.
• Durgadevi Saraf Institute of Management Studies has entered into a Memorandum of Agreement with ESSCA, a major business school in Europe for its flagship Post Graduate Diploma in Management Program [PGDM].
