I don't know much about the placements and internships as I am a fresher.
For the placements, we have Aspire - the placement cell. Very hard-working and enthusiastic group of students. Many students are placed every year from all courses. Many internships also come through the placement cell.
Highest salary figures is INR 1000000 per year. And the lowest is INR 400000 per year. And the percentage of batch that gets placed is approx 60%.
I haven't done any internship yet. The average package for companies is about INR 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The alumni network is fine in the college.
I have done many internships of stipend between Rs. 500 - 5000. Our college has an alumni network named ASPIRE which keeps you updated about the placement.
The placement cell of CVS is active. They even provide winter internships with decent stipends. Many companies like Indigo, FIS, S&P global, etc keep on visiting the campus for its placements. The college is well known for its placement records (70%) and its internships.
The placement and internship cell is not very active in my college. The students are allowed to do the off-campus internship.
Alumni network is good and active.
Lufthansa Cargo (unpaid), HelpAge India (unpaid) are the main companies who select the students for internship.
