Carmel College of Engineering & Technology (CCET) is owned and managed by the St. Joseph’s Carmel Educational & public trust of CMI, registered on 13-09-2012. The Institution was established by a Public public trust in 2014-15 at Punnapra, Alappuzha, with the thing of providing education to all or any within the field of Engineering & Technology. Our motto is moulding Engineers par Excellence with Integrity, commitment and human values who are competent to satisfy the worldwide standards in business, industry and research and would act as catalysts for the transformation of the society.

Carmel College of Engineering & Technology, Punnapra managed by St. Joseph's Carmel Educational & public trust of CMI, is that the only Engineering College offering UG level courses under the Province of St. Joseph, Thiruvananthapuram. A self-financing college approved by AICTE and affiliated to college of Kerala, Carmel College of Engineering and Technology offers 4 year B.Tech courses in engineering, engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and computing Engineering. Excellence is our obsession. The College aim at holistic development of each student. Nurturing of inquisitive minds and generating an environment of intellectual excitement are going to be our priority, for we believe, excitement of the intellect in school room could ultimately cause sprouting of innovations and unleashing of enterprise. Carmel College of Engineering & Technology Admission 2020

• For the academic year 2020-21 50% of the total seats in Carmel College of Engineering and Technology will be filled by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE) from the list prepared by the CEE on the basis of merit and in accordance with reservation principles followed by Government. The remaining 50% seats will be filled up by the Management according to the merit. Of this 50%, 15% of the total seats is filled from the Non Resident Indian (NRI) category.
• Students pass out from Polytechnic Colleges in Civil, Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical,Automobile and Computer Science can apply for Lateral Entry Seats.
• Applications forms for the lateral Entry seats are available from the Carmel college of Engineering & Technology office.

Admission Process for B.Tech

• Fees structure for B.Tech course at Carmel College of Engineering & Technology is given on the website.
• Interested students must pass KEAM so that can apply for any stream.
• Eligible candidates are requested to attend Personal Interview.
• Counseling section is availed for selected candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech

• Candidate must pass the KEAM Entrance Exam 2020 conducted by Commissioner for Entrance Exams, Govt. of Kerala for admissions to B.Tech in any stream.
• Students must have 60 % aggregatein 10 + 2 or SSC exam.
