Fees & Scholarships : CIEM college fees is 3 lac 57 thousand on 4 years. I got Half fee scholarship so that I pay half of the amount and the other half is paid by the college representative. I think if you get Full fee or Half fee scholarship then you need not go for loans. It's quite affordable.. in other colleges the fees are really less...just check out the fees which you want to go for.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : CIEM( Calcutta Institute of engineering and management) is under WBUT or MAKAUT university. It's a semi-governmental college and to pursue you any kind of degrees under WBUT, you have to attend West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. There are a lot of good ranked colleges which are really good for their everything related to studying , learning and become a problem solver. If you rank less .. below 10 k then you can get a very well stuffed college. I ranked near about 40k so I got this college according to choose when you're applying for the courses. There are a lot of courses of the same college given by..you can just decide to point out one course and choose colleges respectively according to their goodness or rank.

Placements & Internships : CIEM or any colleges under WBUT university gives you the opportunity to get Full fee or Half fee scholarship which refers that the college representative pays the total amount of college fees or half amount of college fees. This scholarship depends on you family annual income. I got Half fee scholarship because i have 40k annual family income. i show my income certificate from my own state and village Panchayet. With this Full fee or Half fee scholarship you are also eligible for Swami Vivekananda's scholarship which provides 60k per annum of your course.You can only apply for this scholarship if you got 75% marks in H.S examination.You must be aware that you apply for this after H.S exam..you have to aware when the forms releases. And also for Full fee and Half fee scholarship, you must be aware when the forms are released afer getting admission into the college. you can ask from the college representative. And one most thing...you can enjoy both of scholarships together. There are many companies visits our college like Oppo,Vivo, cognizant,Tcs, ICICI bank...many like this...but to get jobs there..you must be a problem solver not a genius. somebody tell you there are no campusing in CIEM..there are companies that comes but can't find those students eligible..so that they can't give them jobs and the students got rumors. so study hard and do internships from other companies or college, apply for this..the more you experienced the more you have the chance. and the salary..how the company, how you are, how experienced...all depends, so be a problem solver ..not only learner.

Academics & Faculty : In CIEM, most of the teachers are very good at their behavior, studying methods, helpful hands. Most of the teachers are very good at everything. I'm on ECE department and the class routine is pretty good. I got 10 am to 5 pm class in my first year. 

Clubs & Associations : I'm not engaged with any clubs or society but I'm quite sure there are clubs and societies in this college and you can join them, to develop thinking for college infrastructure, to serve the poor students which they are poor for. There are sport facilities,and festival are just started from this year..so if you are a lover of those...you are in quite right place.
