CIEM Infrastructure: Library, Hostel, Labs, Gym, Auditorium & Other Facilities

CIEM infrastructure is spread over an area of 5 acres in West Bengal. The institute has the required facilities and has developed its facilities in the face of the pandemic for the comprehensive growth and development of students' academic careers. Some highlighting features of the Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management infrastructure are listed below.

Hostel: The CIEM hostel facilities are available, and an annual fee is levied for accommodated students. 

Library: CIEM has a central library with over 4000 book titles, 39000 volumes and subscriptions to thousands of national and international e-journals for students' reading and research purposes. The CIEM library provides the perfect ambience for students to continue their studies.

Sports Facilities: The CIEM Kolkata students are encouraged to pursue gaming activities for their physical and mental well-being. The CIEM infrastructure includes fields and courts for outdoor games wherein various games like football, volleyball, cricket and badminton are played. Indoor sporting facilities like table tennis and carrom are also on campus.

Language Laboratory: The CIEM infrastructure includes a language lab with audio-visual equipment. The aim is to give students an equal opportunity to participate in interactive sessions promoting communication skills development. Listening, speaking, reading, and writing is some skills pursued. The lab creates a unique experience and interaction for the students with the machines. The CIEM Kolkata language laboratory is air-conditioned and well-furnished.

Central Computing Facility: CIEM facilities include a central computing room with 110 computers adorned with AV installations, internet access and updated software. The computing facility provides students and faculty with an interactive environment to study and learn.

Online Classrooms: At the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, the CIEM campus has added another facility under its wing. To not compromise students' education, CIEM Kolkata adapted to teaching online. Online classrooms were created and can provide online learning facilities in all diverse situations.
