Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria are to be 12th pass with PCM with 45% and more. The entrance examination is WBJEE and JEE MAIN. The typical cutoff was 115 out of 360 for JEE MAIN . And, I qualified for the WBJEE counseling by cracking the exam.

Placements & Internships : Currently in 3rd year so no placement up to now for me at Birbhum Institute of Engineering and Technology, Birbhum. Key companies like TCS, Capgemini, Simplex etc comes CTC of RS 1.5-3 lakhs per annum is offered. Alumni are well placed and working in some good companies.

Academics & Faculty : Classes are held daily at Birbhum Institute of Engineering and Technology, Birbhum. The Faculty is overall good. Overall a good college to pursue engineering

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 4 hostels for boys and two for girls at Birbhum Institute of Engineering and Technology, Birbhum. Food is just awesome. It costs Rs 30 per meal. The quality of labs everything is good. And, PGs are of low costs outside the college.

Clubs & Associations : Sparsh an NGO club is there at Birbhum Institute of Engineering and Technology, Birbhum. The Life in college is good in general. Fests are held every year with many events.
