BHMS at BVDU, Pune:

Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery [BHMS] is an undergraduate medical course offered by BVDU, Pune. It is an undergraduate homeopathic medical course. The course duration is 5½ years, including an internship. Homeopathy is a holistic system of medicine where the BHMS syllabus focusses on treating the patient with diluted materials administered as tablets in order to trigger the body’s natural system of healing.

Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria are as follows:

Students must have passed the Twelfth (10 + 2) standard with science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) or any other examination recognized as equivalent to the same & with English as one of the languages. He/she must have achieved a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of the relevant science subject (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) of the12th standard examination. The minimum age for admission is 17 years as on 31st December in the year of admission for the First BHMS course.

Admission Process:

The admission process is as follows:

1. Candidates have to fill out the application form on the official site choosing BHMS Course.
2. Screening Process of the applications will be done from the university
3. Shortlisted Students will get an invite from BVDU for counseling and interview for some courses.
4. Students are admitted to the BHMS course on the merit basis obtained in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
