Student Reviews

Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Political Science), batch of 2014

The college timing is from 9 am to 4 pm.

The teaching staff of the college is the best thing about the college; its a very professional and smart way of teaching.

My personal favourites were tutorials and group discussions. We had a flexible and fun classroom experience.

Bharati College has numerous clubs and societies, from fashion to drama to social and cultural.

Bharati college is known in DU for its grand annual college fest.

My overall experience has been great in this college. I made many memories.

Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (History), batch of 2021

This is the department which disappointed me a lot. When it comes to the faculty of history, it lacks in various departments. If you are a non-Hindi speaker, it makes it very difficult in this college as it is dominated by Hindi speakers in the teaching faculty. Overall, my experience with the faculty has made me to some extent regret my decision of taking admission here. If you are serious about learning and want to pursue the same course as mine then you need to take this into serious consideration.

Bharati college is well-known for its fashion and dance society in the whole of DU. Apart from this, it has many clubs ranging from maths to quiz. Getting into clubs can be easy but once working it can prove to be troublesome because of the pressure of work which may divert your attention from your studies. You may not get as many options as you get in other colleges of Du when it comes to clubs and the exposure is average.

However, once you are into Bharati college you will get to experience the life of a DU student full of fun and hardships and leniency. The teachers and students there are very friendly and helpful and will not make you feel out of space.

Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (English), batch of 2016

Teachers are well-educated here. We used to get assignments in every semester, around 4 to 5 lectures are conducted every day.

In this college, there is a drama society called Chilman and a dance society, named Advaita. For sports, we have a lot of options available.

Master of Arts [MA] (History), batch of 2019

The daily routine is really good and the quality of teaching is also good.

We have NSS, NCC, women development cell, chilman (dramatic society), Chintan (debating society), advaitya & mridang (dance society)and many others.

Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com], batch of 2019

The first lecture starts at 9 AM and the college disperses at 3 PM. We have our internals and externals as per schedule. We get projects regularly and Participate in group discussions to get the exposure we need to groom ourself for the outside world.

There are many societies in our college like dance society, cultural society, etc. All the festivals are celebrated with great excitement in the college. The life on campus is somehow a bit different from what I have expected but I am enjoying it anyway

Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com], batch of 2017

Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Economics), batch of 2016
Following review is relevant to all stream students. The syllabus prescribed by Delhi University is followed. The lecturers are also very well educated and regular. Their main aim is to enhance skills in the student by providing various opportunities. Like any other university in India, your academics depend on your own efforts rather than syllabus taught in classes. The quality of teaching is quite well. Here, the college offers honours courses for sanskrit, pol science, history, english and so many, diploma in language courses and professional computer courses.
