BHU B.P.A. is a 3-year full-time course divided into six semesters and offers various specialisations in Dance and Instrumentals. Admission to the Bachelor of Performing Arts programme will be based on the CUET marks.

BHU B.P.A. Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the B.P.A. at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) are below. The specialisation may vary depending on the specialisation selected.

BHU B.P.A. Admission 

For BHU B.P.A. admission, applicants must pass class 10+2 or UG/PG/three-year Diploma degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate and Vocal Music/Instrumental Music/Dance (Kathak/Bharatnatyam) as one subject. Otherwise, candidates must pass the relevant Madhyama exam of the State. A valid CUET UG score is compulsory followed by a practical test. Minimum age must be below  22 years.

Application Procedure 

Interested candidates must apply for BHU B.P.A. online. Below are the steps to follow for the application procedure at BHU.

• Register by entering the required information like email ID, number, and address.
• On the student dashboard, select the option “My Application”.
• Fill out the application form, and upload documents and educational details.
• Upload signature and photo.
• Preview and submit the form.
• Pay the application fee online via credit card/credit card/ net banking/ UPI from your laptop. Payments via mobile may be rejected for security reasons. 

Entrance Exams

To participate in the BHU admission process, applicants must secure a valid rank in the CUET UG examinations.
