BHU offers scholarships and financial assistance to the students who fulfill the certain criteria as set by the university. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the college to avail of the scholarships. More details regarding the BHU scholarship are mentioned below. 

• Only 50 needy bona fide university students would be given lunch and dinner under the free meal facility at Annapoorna Bhojnalaya, BHU for at least seven months. 
• Under Shri Vishwanath Temple's Annadaan Yojna, all blind students will be entitled to free lunch, dinner, and financial aid of Rs. 5000 per year per head for a maximum of 20 blind students.
• A cash prize of Rs. 4000 and Rs. 3000 will be presented to the first and second place finishers, respectively.
• Financial assistance in the amount of Rs. 2000 per annum would be provided to students from low-income families, up to a maximum of 100 students.
• Physically handicapped students would get a one-time award of Rs. 4000 per student for the duration of their education, up to a maximum of 25 students.
• BHU students who participate in any national level seminar, symposia, conference, except research researchers, will be compensated for their sleeper class rail fare.
• A maximum of Rs. 5000 will be awarded as scholarship in BHU for organising seminar or workshops at the faculty or institute level that will benefit students, with a limit of 10 seminars, symposia, and workshops per year.
