Admissions for the academic year 2021 is open. The post-graduation program provided at the college is the MBA programs which are namely, MBA, MBA in Marketing Management, and MBA ( PM & HRD). MBA is a 2-year program that can be pursued by both freshers and people with prior work experience. The course is divided into 4 semesters and in MBA (PM and HRD) students study courses related to Human Resource Management and Marketing Management, Operations & Supply Chain Management, Information System Management, and Financial Management.
Eligibility Criteria are as follows:
The candidate must have a degree from a UGC recognized University.
Applicants must have a minimum score of 50% aggregate marks (General category) 45% (SC/ST).
Interested aspirants must appear and clear at least one of these entrances - CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT or MH-CET with qualifying marks.
If a student wants to join the executive batch, he/she must possess a minimum of 2 years of industry experience with supporting documents for the same.
Seat Availability and Reservation:
60 seats are reserved for each MBA course following reservation policies provided by the government. Generally, the Sri Balaji Society believes in the upliftment of women therefore 50% of seats are reserved for female candidates.
The selection process involves shortlisting candidates based on their performance in entrance examinations. Followed by essay writing, group discussion, and personal interview. 35% weightage is given to the entrance exam scores. Group discussion happens for 30-45 minutes. Again 35% weightage is given for this round which may extend to the second day. Essay writing is conducted to assess one's communication skills with a weightage of 35%. It is important to be aware of the current affairs to clear this round. Panel interview and essay marks have 30% weightage.
