AEC - Asansol Engineering College Admission 2022: Eligibility, Application Process & Dates

The Asansol Engineering College or AEC is a self-financing college in West Bengal, India offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Engineering and Technology and other allied fields. It was established in 1998 by The Academy of Engineers as a joint venture between the JIS group and the Techno India group. For admission in M.C.A Minimum 50-60% in BCA or a related course with Mathematics in Class 12 as a compulsory subject is an eligibility criteria Direct Admission or Through Entrance Exams i.e JECA.

• Asansol Engineering College is one of the best private institutions in West Bengal.
• The eligibility criteria are one should have passed higher secondary examination ie XIIth in PCM with a very good percentage.
• After that, one must clear the WB JEE or JEE MAIN with a good rank.
• For computer science and engineering department, the cutoff is around 4000-9000 rank.

• The students can take admission in Asansol Engineering College, Bardhaman through all India rank or WBJEE through rank.
• I was given admission through WB JEE rank.
• The WBJEE rank cutoffs for CSE is around 20000, for ECE it is 23000, for IT is 30000, for ME it is 25000, for CE 30000 and for EE it is 30000.

• The year was 2013 when I was admitted to Asansol Engineering College, Bardhaman.
• I can still remember the rush for admission in our college.
• I had given JEE MAIN and WBJEE entrance examinations and got 54066 and 6785 rank respectively.
• I got Asansol Engineering College with help of my WBJEE rank whose criteria for mechanical was up to 7500 approx.

Eligibility criteria for Asansol Engineering College, Bardhaman is that you should have your entrance score card. Admission procedure for the course is through online. Counselling is provided by entrance board.

I took wbjee.

There is no cutoffs but you should have atleast 40% marks in each subject otherwise you will not get your course certificate.

You can get this college via 2 ways.  By WBJEE entrance exam or through JEE MAIN scorecard. This college's cutoff is not too much high. If u score 50+ marks out of 200 in WBJEE or get 70k rank in JEE MAIN then you can get this college with top streams.

Eligibility criteria were that I had to score a good rank in WBJEE and the admission procedure was done through West Bengal for B-tech council. I have written WBJEE as the entrance examination. The cutoffs for my course was around 30,000 rank in WBJEE.
