DHGS releases the NEET Seat Matrix 2023 on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee. The seat matrix is released separately for MBBS, BDS, and AIQ seats.
NEET Seat Matrix 2023 provides students with information regarding the state-wise distribution of seats, cutoff scores, and courses each medical institution provides. The total number of seats provided in NEET 2023 is more than 90,000. MCC allocates 15% of quota seats, while the respective state authorities assign the remaining 85% via counselling.

The virtual vacancy seats in NEET Seat Matrix 2023 are mainly occupied by the candidate's allotted seats in round 1. Such candidates can apply for an upgrade in Round 2. Seats become available in this category when students occupying the seat are upgraded.
